Activities Club
To support local families, St Luke’s Catholic College Activities Club is so much more than a before and after school care program.
At Activities Club, students thrive on engaging learning focused activities as part of an extended school day.
With the strategic support of external providers, St Luke’s Activities Club delivers a high quality mix of STEM, Creative Arts, Personal Development, Health and Physical Education, Religious Education, English, Technology and much more!
These learning focused, sporting, cultural and tuition activities complement the core curriculum and take place between the hours of 6:30 am - 8:00 am and 2:40 pm - 6:00 pm in the membership options of: Sunrise, Twilight or Casual membership.

Activities Club provides engaging, learning focused activities run by qualified teachers and undergraduate assistants. These activities compliment St Luke’s 6 Pillars and the core curriculum.
Students are presented with an array of Key Learning Areas offered on a rotational basis. These include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Coding, Visual Arts, Drama, Dance, Design & Physical Education. Want an idea of the type of activities we do? View our Photo and Video Gallery.
The most recent schedule is available on the college website. The day ‘focus areas’ provide an array of hands on learning activities within that particular subject area. Often there may be more than one focus area on any particular day, this is to cater to the strengths of particular teaching staff and external providers and also, offers variety for students attending on specific schedules.
Sunrise Session
The Sunrise Session offers smaller group activities.
At 8:00 am rolls will be marked and students will be handed over to the main supervision area.
Twilight Session
The Twilight session’s formalised ‘activity time’ is scheduled from approximately 3:15-4:30pm (however, this may vary depending on the type of activities offered).
At the conclusion of school students will gather at a collection point and be directed by staff to Activities Club.
IF YOU ARE PICKING UP YOUR CHILD FROM THE MARKETPLACE AND THEY ARE ENROLLED INTO ACTIVITIES CLUB FOR THAT DAY. PLEASE LET ACTIVITIES CLUB STAFF KNOW PRIOR TO LEAVING THE SCHOOL, SO WE CAN MARK THEIR NAME OFF.
Similarly, if your child is not attending Activities Club on a particular day and you know in advance please let Activities Club know via email.
Due to our current numbers Twilight rolls are separated into Junior (ES1 and S1) and Senior (Stage 2, 3, 4) groups which often have age appropriate activities and/or will access certain learning activities on a rotational basis.
