πŸ“’ Empowering Our K-4 Students with Safe and Respectful Online Habits πŸ’»πŸ’™ Today, our K-4 students had a fantastic opportunity to learn from Senior Constable Rob McFarlane, our local Police Liaison Officer, about cyberbullying, online safety, and respectful relationships. πŸš”βœ¨ During the session, students explored: βœ… How to stay safe when using technology and interacting online. βœ… The importance of kindness and respect in their friendships. βœ… What to do if they ever feel unsafe or uncomfortable. Some key takeaway tips Senior Constable Rob McFarlane shared with the children were the importance of... 1) Knowing the number for emergencies - '000' 2) Learning your address 3) Being aware of strangers (Stranger Danger) 4) If in an unsafe situation... Here we are. We are here! πŸŒπŸ‘ˆπŸ½ Today, through song 🎢 and dance πŸ’ƒπŸ½, we celebrated Multicultural Day 🌍 at St Luke's. Our Marketplace was covered with flags from across the globe to show our diversity, and the globe itself took pride of place as a sign of our unity 🫢🏽. Our students and staff were treated to cultural performances from near and far, from students of all ages πŸ‘§πŸ½πŸ§’πŸΌπŸ‘¦πŸΏ! Led by the School of Foundations and supported by teams from across our school, this showcase reminded us all just how lucky we are to be part of a multicultural community πŸ’–!
